Summer is in full swing and brings with it host of new trends for us to refresh our wardrobe with. Here we take a look at the hottest styles to get you looking fresh for the summer season.
Relax Your Suit
Suits are enjoying something of a come back and don’t need to be reserved just for weddings, work and formal events. Try using more relaxed materials, linen suits are good for warm weather, and pair them with a t-shirt. This way they’ll look at home on the high street and you won’t feel overdressed or stifled.
To add an extra element of informality without compromising on style you could also throw in a pair of smart trainers, such as these Lacuzzo Grey Nubuck Sneakers.
Square cuts were also all the rage at recent fashion weeks, continuing the revival of 80s trends. White, a colour that has been largely absent over the past few years, also proved popular on the catwalks.
We recommend this Remus slim fit lightweight jacket. This is a dark mauve, overshirt style, casual jacket, featuring 5 a button centre fastening, a shirt-style collar and in-seam vertical pockets, made from a water repellent poly nylon fabric. Wear this with Mac Jog N Jeans White, which are a pair of white denim jeans made using unconventional denim that has been manufactured to be similar to a sweat fabric. They have the look of a classic jean with the convenience and comfort of a jogging pant and it keeps its shape thanks to a special fibre blend.
It’s been a feature of both the high street and cat walks for a while now but pink is set to get a reboot. This season, to stay at the cutting edge of fashion, go for pastel shades of pinks. Ditch the bright, popping colours and go for more subdued hues.
This pink jersey polo shirt by Lagerfeld is great. It’s a luxury cotton jersey polo shirt constructed from a soft cotton jersey fabric and is ideal to wear in the summer months. It has tonal rib collar, sleeve cuffs and square metal branded buttons.
If you’re not brave enough to go as bold as that you could opt for pink detailing, such as this ice cream print pocket square from Eton shirts. It’s made in Italy from 100% silk, bringing some class to any outfit.
Safari jackets are influencing many modern styles giving a rugged look to your outfit. We recommend this John Victor Driffield moleskin blazer in camel colour.
So, there you have it. Everything you need to know to get your wardrobe summer ready. And, if you’d like to chat about getting the perfect outfit, just drop in to the shop and we’d be happy to help guide you.
