As an independent retail business, the coronavirus outbreak has had a profound effect on our ability to trade. That coupled with our store being forced to close on the 23rd March following the Prime Ministers speech and the fact that clothing is probably the least of the nation's priority right now we have to think of innovative ways to re-engage our customers.
Weddings and special events have been cancelled and our hope is that some of these events can be organised later in the year. My view is that we will hopefully be out of the lockdown early May and some form of normality can begin but we'll have to wait and see.
On a slightly more positive note, we are still able to trade online and as the nation begins to relax a bit more at home, confidence will begin to return and the economy improves, that is our hope anyway.
But for the time being, all we can do is boost our immune systems, stay active and try to ride this out. Looking sharp in nice clothes are there to make us feel good and that is what we are at Leonard Silver purveyors of feeling good!
So until we serve you again stay safe and stay healthy.
