Details & fit
A slim bar in sterling silver, engraved at each end with a scrolling leaf pattern and left plain through the middle. The smooth centre panel gives the eye somewhere to rest, so the decoration reads as detail rather than display.
Worn about halfway down the tie, level with the third shirt button, it holds the blade against the placket and keeps the tie from swinging forward when you reach across a desk. The long, narrow proportion sits well on a standard tie width and slides over the front blade and shirt in one movement.
