Details & fit
A slim bar in rhodium plating, engraved across one half with a scrolling leaf pattern and left plain across the other. The contrast does the work: the engraved end catches the light against the tie, while the polished section keeps the whole thing quiet enough for day wear.
The slide is a long, narrow shape with a squared end, and it slips over the tie and shirt placket to hold both together. Worn between the third and fourth buttons, it keeps a tie sitting flat without pinching the silk. It suits a plain shirt and a single-colour tie as well as it suits a patterned one.
