Details & fit
Two white handkerchiefs in 100% cotton, each embroidered with a Spitfire in flight. The aircraft is worked in greens with roundels in blue and red, a yellow nose marking and fine black stitching at the propeller and undercarriage, set against plain white cloth.
The embroidery sits in one corner, so the motif stays visible when the handkerchief is folded into a breast pocket, and tucks away out of sight when it is simply carried in a trouser pocket. White cotton takes a press well, and a pair means one stays in the drawer while the other is in the wash.
