Details & fit
A working sand timer set into a rhodium finish barrel, with yellow sand that runs from one chamber to the other when the slide is turned. The glass sits open on both sides, so the movement is visible from either angle.
The bar itself is plain and polished, which keeps the attention on the timer. It sits across a tie at the usual height, between the third and fourth buttons of the shirt, and works best on a plain or lightly patterned tie where the yellow has room to read.
